About FC Goa
Founded in 2014, FC Goa is a professional football club based in Goa, India, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL). The club represents the rich footballing culture of Goa and is nicknamed "The Gaurs".
FC Goa plays its home matches at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Margao, with a seating capacity of 19,000. The club is one of the most successful in the ISL, having won the League Winners Shield in the 2019–20 season and reaching the ISL final on multiple occasions.
Our philosophy is built on attractive, attacking football, developing local Goan talent, and maintaining a strong connection with our passionate fanbase. The club has a successful academy system that feeds into the first team.
FC Goa also made history by becoming the first Indian club to compete in the group stage of the AFC Champions League in 2021, representing Indian football on the continental stage.
